Near end of year

As the term is coming to an end, its fair to say i have really enjoyed my first year at CCAD. One project in particular i enjoyed the most, was the Saks project, on which i was appointed director to create a 4 minute how to apply fake tan videoin partnership with Xen Tan. The day went really well, and the client was very happy with the result. However putting up the set to recreate a salon in the studio turned out to be a bit of a challenge, but we got there in the end. Here are some pictures from the day...

Myself, Craig and Jay were asked to put together and create a promotional video for Insane Events, at the the 3 lions Sports Bar last thursday night. It was a good night had by all, all the filming went
well, we thought we might have a problem with the strobe lights on the  cameras at first but it turned to have a good effect on the camera. However unfortunately due to a power cut half way through the night we decided to leave and come back next week to make sure we get some more shots.

With The Good Samaritan project officially over, which i felt went relatively well considering it was our first project (big well done to all crew), we have now moved onto other exciting projects. 16mm film is our next endouver as a class, me and my new group will be experimenting and getting used to the camera on friday filming a "journey" of some sort. Whilst this is happening i am producing another short film called "Time after Time"  for our 16mm project written by Richard Eaborn. Also tomorrow night me and a small crew have been asked to film a short promotional video for a sports bar called the 3 lions located in hartlepool, which i will post online when its edited and finished.
